Composition
The 2015 travel-retail-exclusive lighter Flower. Mandarin, black currant and cassis open over Parma violet, Bulgarian rose, hawthorn, hedione and opoponax, with white musk, incense and vanilla. The original tamed for summer.
To me this smells like the original Flower caught in a spring breeze. Mandarin and black currant make the opening brighter and juicier — sunlight through young leaves — before the familiar powder of Parma violet and Bulgarian rose drifts in, softer and airier than ever. Hedione gives it that transparent jasmine-water glow, and the musk-incense-vanilla base is a whisper rather than a statement. It is Flower for people who found the original a little heavy — the same soul, half the weight. Beginner-friendly.
