Composition
The 2025 second opus of the Ikebana collection by Marie Salamagne. Kumquat zest sparkles over mimosa absolute and golden sesame extract, resting on hinoki wood. A sun-drenched, powdery floral of 91% natural origin.
To me this smells like a Delhi winter afternoon when the sun finally wins — kumquat zest sparkling like cold citrus air, and then mimosa absolute, that powdery golden fluff, like pollen drifting through light. The golden sesame extract gives it this warm, nutty, almost skin-like richness that is quietly unusual and completely lovely. Hinoki wood in the base is clean Japanese cypress, like a temple corridor after rain. It is 91% natural and smells like it: honest, sun-drenched, gentle. A powdery floral for people who think they don't like powdery florals. Beginner-friendly.
