Composition
Part of the 2004 Series 6 Synthetic collection of anti-perfumes built from urban, man-made smells. Aldehydes, lime and lemon fizz over ginger and lily, with rum and pepper in the drydown. A carbonated citrus in the spirit of a vending-machine soda.
This is not a perfume, it's a can of soda cracking open in a Delhi summer. I smell lime and lemon fizzing up, that sharp citrus sparkle, and something underneath that isn't quite cola but wants to be — a spiced ginger and rum hum, like a mocktail ordered at a Connaught Place rooftop bar. It feels electric, cold, a little artificial in the best way, the way neon signs feel at midnight. It doesn't try to be deep. It dries down into a warm peppery skin, like the tingle left after the last sip. You wear this when you want to smell fun, not expensive. Beginner-friendly.
