Composition
Launched in 2012 as the house's ultimate green fragrance. Green pepper, palm leaf and hazelnut open onto ivy, coriander seed, orris root and flintstone, over a base of gunpowder accord, vetiver, white musk and smoke. Green and mineral, with a gunpowder signature.
To me this smells like a tropical storm breaking over a palm grove. Green pepper and wet palm leaves snap in the air, and underneath there's something startling — the mineral tang of flintstone struck like a match, a wisp of gunpowder smoke curling off a burnt firecracker's fuse. It's the smell of a jungle right after lightning, when everything is dripping and the air tastes like metal. As it dries, vetiver and white musk settle in like damp earth, but the smoke never fully leaves. This is not a polite green fragrance; it's wild weather in a bottle.
