Presence d'Une Femme Intense, launched in 2004, is an oriental floral Eau de Toilette for women. Pineapple, pepper, mandarin orange and lotus open over a heart of caramel and orchid, drying down to Brazilian rosewood, sandalwood, patchouli and vanilla.
Scent story
To me this smells like caramelised pineapple served at a beach café at sunset, pepper cracked over the top. Mandarin and lotus keep it bright and watery at first, then caramel and orchid bloom into something rich and golden. The dry-down is all Brazilian rosewood, sandalwood and vanilla — warm wood and soft sweetness, like the inside of a jewellery box. Sensual without being loud, sweet without being young. Lotus keeps a watery calm at the centre, like a still pond under all that gold. Beginner-friendly.
