Composition
Lady Emblem, launched in mid-2015 and created by Claire Liégent, is the feminine version of Emblem — a chypre fruity Eau de Parfum. Sake, pink pepper and pink grapefruit open over jasmine, rose and pomegranate, drying down to sandalwood, amber and musk. The diamond-inspired bottle is tinted soft pink.
To me this smells like cocktail hour at a rooftop bar, when someone orders something pink and complicated. Sake, pink pepper and pink grapefruit open with a fizzy, slightly boozy sparkle — playful and a little mischievous. Jasmine, rose and pomegranate bloom in the heart like the garnish arriving on the glass. The dry-down is pure softness: sandalwood, amber and musk wrapping everything in a cashmere layer. It's a fruity chypre that knows exactly how pretty it is, and the pink diamond bottle isn't lying. Fun, feminine, and easy to love. Beginner-friendly.
