Legend Intense, launched in September 2013, is an amplified edition of the original Legend by the same perfumer, Olivier Pescheux. Pineapple and bergamot open over a heart of red apple, cardamom, pepperwood and jasmine, drying down to tonka bean, amber, white cedar and oakmoss wrapped in an Evernyl oakmoss molecule.
Scent story
This smells like a man who has his life together walking into a October boardroom. Pineapple and bergamot open juicy and sharp, like fresh fruit on a conference table, and then the heart turns spiced — cardamom and pepperwood, with red apple keeping it crisp and a flicker of jasmine keeping it interesting. It is polished without being boring. The base is tonka and amber over white cedar and oakmoss, warm and steady like good leather shoes. It projects confidence without shouting. Very much a safe, handsome, grown-up scent. Beginner-friendly.
