Composition
Released in 2013 in the Blue collection. Mediterranean maritime pine and juniper berry open into blue pepper, settling on creamy Australian sandalwood. A cool, aromatic take on sandalwood with an evergreen chill.
To me this smells like a coastal pine forest where the sea wind has salted the bark — Mediterranean maritime pine and juniper berry in the opening, green and resinous, like crushing needles under your boots while the ocean hums somewhere below. A flicker of blue pepper keeps it awake, bright as a warning flag. Then the Australian sandalwood arrives, soft and creamy, sanding down the edges until it smells like driftwood warmed in your hands. It is minimal the way a Japanese garden is minimal — every note placed, nothing wasted. Beginner-friendly.
