Composition
Launched in 2012 alongside the Pleats Please fashion line. Pear opens the fruity-floral composition, followed by a heart of sweet pea, peony and indole. The base settles on white musk, vanilla absolute, patchouli and cedar.
To me this smells like clean laundry on a spring morning — pear crisp and watery, then sweet pea and peony unfolding like fresh cotton, indole giving that dewy white-flower realism. Simple as a white shirt. The base is skin-warm and soft: white musk, vanilla absolute, patchouli just a shadow, cedar like a wooden clothespin. It is the scent of being effortlessly put-together — nothing loud, everything right. The olfactory equivalent of a perfect pleat. Cedar waits at the very end like the wooden hanger the shirt came on. Beginner-friendly.
