Composition
A 2013 eau de parfum for women in the L'Eau d'Issey line. Lotus and freesia open over a heart of honey, tuberose and night-blooming cereus. Woody notes and bourbon vanilla complete the warm floral base.
To me this is a night garden in full bloom — tuberose and night-blooming cereus opening after dark, their scent so thick you can almost see it in the moonlight. Honey drips through everything, golden and slow; lotus and freesia keep it luminous rather than heavy. Bourbon vanilla in the base turns it creamy and warm, like the garden is exhaling. It is the most romantic thing Issey Miyake ever made — all white flowers and honeyed air, no sharp edges anywhere. I wear it on evenings when I want the night to feel enchanted. Beginner-friendly.
