Composition
A 2018 addition to the Mugler Cologne Rainbow Collection created by Sonia Constant. Fly Away blends sparkling yellow grapefruit with an aromatic hemp accord, twisted by the secret C note for a high effervescence. Light, airy and moderately joyful, it preserves the thin-boned grace of the original Cologne in a 100 ml Eau de Toilette.
To me this smells like a tall glass of grapefruit shikanji drunk on a rooftop at noon, ice sweating down the glass. The citrus is sparkling and almost fizzy, then this green herbal hemp note drifts in like someone lit a very mild, very legal bonfire of herbs two balconies away. It stays thin and airy the whole way through, never getting heavy or sweet. This is a scent for days when the heat is honest and you want to smell like cold water and sunlight. Beginner-friendly.
