To me this smells like a monsoon morning at a coffee estate in Coorg, when the roaster in the old plantation house is already going and the whole valley smells of dark, full-bodied coffee beans cracking open. Not the sweet café latte kind — the real thing, bitter and roasted, with earth under it. Patchouli and vetiver hold the coffee upright like wet soil around roots, and later cedar and clean musk soften the cup into something you can wear to a meeting. It keeps the A*Men gourmand heart but in a tailored jacket. One spray and you smell like the most interesting person at breakfast. Beginner-friendly.
