Composition
Launched in 2015, City Blossom is a fresh floral flanker of L'Eau d'Issey. Calone, pink pepper, bergamot and lemon open onto a white-floral heart of magnolia, freesia, lily-of-the-valley, rose and osmanthus. White cedar, white musk, ambroxan and a touch of honey round out the base.
This is a city park in April after a rainstorm — magnolia and freesia and lily of the valley all blooming at once, rose and osmanthus sweetening the wet air, calone giving it that just-rained freshness. Pink pepper and citrus sparkle at the top like sunlight on puddles. White cedar, white musk, and ambroxan in the base keep it modern and clean — flowers with a glass-and-steel backbone. It smells like spring in a city that finally got its act together. Fresh, pretty, and quietly sophisticated. Beginner-friendly.
