Composition
The 2020 twentieth-anniversary ultra-floral by Dora Baghriche and Alberto Morillas. Nashi pear opens over Bulgarian rose and gardenia, with almond wood. Fruity, floral and irresistibly joyful.
To me this smells like a birthday party in a flower shop. Nashi pear opens it — crisp, juicy, sparkling — and then gardenia and Bulgarian rose bloom huge and joyful in the heart, creamy and unapologetically pretty. The almond tree base adds a soft, nutty sweetness that keeps the whole thing grounded and cozy. It is pure happiness in a bottle, the kind of scent that makes strangers smile at you on the metro. The nashi pear never really leaves either — it keeps the flowers from ever feeling heavy, like a window left open in the flower shop. Beginner-friendly.
