Composition
A 2017 ode to light in eau de toilette by Morillas and Amandine Clerc-Marie. Calabrian bergamot and cassis sparkle over jasmine, Bulgarian rose, peach and ylang-ylang, resting on violet, white musk and heliotrope. Radiant, fresh and luminous.
To me this smells like sunlight hitting a crystal prism — Calabrian bergamot and cassis sparkling first, all citrus fizz and dark-berry glint. Then the light breaks into color: jasmine, Bulgarian rose, peach, ylang-ylang, a whole bouquet lit from within. Violet, heliotrope and white musk settle it into something powdery and soft, like the glow on your skin after a day outside. An ode to light, exactly as promised. Luminous in a way few florals manage. Heliotrope's almond-powder softness lingers longest, like light refusing to leave the room. Beginner-friendly.
