Scent story

To me this smells like a memory of elegant women in a 1960s drawing room, cigarette smoke curling toward the ceiling. The tobacco is dry and golden, wrapped in honey and dried fruits, saffron giving it an amber glow like lamplight through a glass of something brown. Iris and immortelle add a powdery, hay-like softness — dried flowers in a drawer — and the resins (myrrh, opoponax, styrax, benzoin) burn low and sweet underneath. It is nostalgia you can wear, but it is a heavy, smoky nostalgia. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
