Scent story

To me this smells like a Venetian spice merchant's counting room after the ships come in — cardamom pods split open on a desk, cinnamon quills stacked like firewood, lavender and galbanum green against the dark wood. Then saffron blooms over guaiac wood, oily and intoxicating, like a coin with a strange new face. The dry-down is pure indulgence: ambergris salty and animal, caramel melting over vanilla and benzoin, patchouli and oakmoss grounding it in earth. It is decadence without chaos — every note knows its place in the ledger, and the total is enormous. You do not wear this casually; you wear it like armor. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
