Terres Aromatiques 1905 is the Corsica-inspired opus of the Noir Premier collection, composed by Julie Masse. Cardamom, lemon and pineapple open the composition, followed by a heart of lavender, thyme and freesia. Vetiver, tonka bean and orcanox form the earthy base.
Scent story
To me this smells like hiking through Corsican maquis at noon — cardamom and lemon sharp in the hot air, pineapple like a strange tropical mirage, and then lavender and thyme crushing under your boots, freesia unexpectedly sweet among the herbs. Vetiver, tonka and orcanox ground it in dry, sun-baked earth. Aromatic, earthy, sun-drenched — a landscape in a bottle. Unusual but never difficult; it smells like somewhere real. Julie Masse's Corsica in a bottle — wild herbs, sea air, and that dry orcanox-earth finish. Beginner-friendly.
