Composition
Released in 2001 as a floral-citrus feminine. Freesia, neroli and lemon open over a heart of beeswax, rose, violet, jasmine sambac and lily-of-the-valley. Musk and sandalwood form the soft base.
This smells like honey held up to the light. Neroli and lemon sparkle first — bright, effervescent, like the first sip of something cold on a hot terrace — then the flowers open in slow succession: freesia peppery and fresh, rose blooming soft and pink, jasmine sambac glowing white-hot, lily-of-the-valley ringing like tiny bells. All of it is softened by beeswax's golden warmth, as if the whole bouquet were dipped in honey, and violet adds a powdery hush underneath like shade under a tree. Later the musk and sandalwood make it feel like sun-warmed skin at the end of a long afternoon. It is sunshine with a memory of honeycomb — warm, radiant, and quietly sensual. Beginner-friendly.
