Lavender, lemon, mint, bergamot, petitgrain, tarragon and basil open into lily-of-the-valley, jasmine, violet and rose de Mai, over moss, ambergris, clove, vetiver, tonka bean, cedar, patchouli, labdanum, musk, sandalwood, cardamom, nutmeg, cashmere wood and rhubarb.
Scent story
To me this smells like a barbershop in the south of France that only opens for people it likes — lavender, mint, bergamot and basil snapping fresh and green, tarragon adding an aniseed wink. The petitgrain is green and citrusy, like orange leaves crushed between your fingers. Lily-of-the-valley, jasmine and violet keep the heart soft and classic, and the base of moss, ambergris, vetiver, tonka and sandalwood is pure old-school elegance. A modern fougère done the expensive way. Crisp, confident, timeless. Beginner-friendly.
