An oriental for women and men inspired by the Chinese goddess NüWa. Bergamot and grapefruit open into rose de Mai, orange blossom and jasmine de Grasse, over a warm spiced base of clove, cumin, pepper, sandalwood, benzoin, vanilla and Peru balsam.
Scent story
To me this smells like a goddess's spice cabinet. Bergamot and grapefruit open bright — lightning before the warmth — and then the flowers: rose de Mai lush and pink, orange blossom honeyed, jasmine de Grasse heady as temple garlands. Then the base turns exotic and warm: clove and cumin and pepper, the smell of a Beijing market at dusk, over sandalwood creamy and deep, benzoin and vanilla and Peru balsam resinous and sweet. Inspired by NüWa, who molded humanity from clay. It smells like creation: earth, spice, and flowers, all at once. Beginner-friendly.
