Scent story

To me this smells like a rendezvous in a French pâtisserie, exactly as promised — glazed chestnuts and orange opening warm and nutty, and then coffee and maple syrup pouring over everything like a slow, golden afternoon you never want to end. Orange blossom keeps it from getting too heavy, and ebony, heliotrope, tonka, sandalwood and vanilla dry it down into something dark and delicious. The most edible thing in this batch, and proud of it. The chestnut is the star, really — roasted, buttery, a little smoky, like marrons glaces eaten next to a fireplace. Beginner-friendly.
