Composition
Olivia Giacobetti's minimalist meditation on incense and white lily, named for the Paris street of L'Artisan's first offices. Light, soapy and luminous rather than dark, it is a cult classic of quiet, church-like calm.
To me this smells like a jazz club at midnight, incense curling through the cigarette smoke and low light. Give it a few minutes and white lily unfolds, soft as breath. Finally cedarwood, white musk and benzoin take the stage, familiar as home, grounding every bright note that came before. Wear it when you want to smell like a room you never want to leave.
