Composition
Alien Hypersense, launched in 2024 and created by Dominique Ropion — the nose behind the original 2005 Alien — is a radical rebirth of the Alien line. Pear and green mandarin open onto jasmine sambac and Indian jasmine over cashmeran, musk, amberwood and driftwood.
Hypersense is Alien for a new generation — the iconic jasmine is still here, harvested from Mugler's own fields in India, but it arrives wrapped in juicy pear and green mandarin instead of the original's dark amber. The cashmeran-musk-amberwood base keeps that addictive Mugler warmth with a salty, sun-kissed, modern edge. It is lighter, sparklier and more versatile than classic Alien — genuinely wearable in Indian summers where the original would overwhelm. Very beginner-friendly — the most approachable Alien ever made, fruity-floral comfort with Mugler's signature sensuality underneath.
