Composition
Aurélien Guichard's 2011 sparkling floral. Pear and litchi open over heliotrope and jasmine, settling on cedar and musk. Fruity, musky and carefree — a lighter read of the Madly Kenzo spirit.
This is a Lodi Garden picnic in March, bottled. Pear and litchi open juicy and sparkling, like the first bite of a cold litchi when the season just starts, and the heliotrope gives it this soft, powdery, almost almondy sweetness — carefree in the way only spring can be. Jasmine drifts through like a breeze. Cedar and musk in the base keep it from floating away entirely. It is fruity, musky, young, and completely unbothered by seriousness. The kind of scent for a day with no plan and nowhere to be. Beginner-friendly.
