Composition
The 2020 Hokusai-inspired edition by Olivier Cresp. Pink grapefruit over orange blossom, with lotus at the base. A clean, floral-aquatic wave of freshness.
To me this smells like the first wave that hits your ankles when you run into the sea — pink grapefruit sharp and salty-sweet, orange blossom floating on top like foam, lotus cool and watery underneath. It's clean in the way only aquatic florals can be: no weight, no shadow, just freshness. The Hokusai wave on the bottle isn't decoration, it's the brief. A reset button in perfume form. Olivier Cresp kept it minimal — three notes doing the work of ten, clean as a Hokusai print. Beginner-friendly.
