Composition
The 2007 summer edition of L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme. Green leaves, petitgrain and lemon open into a heart of coriander, nutmeg, rosemary and cinnamon. The base settles on musk and saffron.
To me this smells like a morning walk through a citrus grove in summer — green leaves and petitgrain crisp and bright in the first breath, lemon sparkling like sun on water. Coriander and rosemary add a dry herbal hum, the smell of the path between the trees, nutmeg and cinnamon warming it like distant spice. It dries into clean musk, saffron glowing faintly underneath like the last light of the day. Easy, airy, and gone by afternoon — the way a summer should feel. Beginner-friendly.
