Composition
An oriental-spicy tribute to the Lalique horse motif by Emilie Coppermann. Bergamot, lemon, cardamom and juniper open onto nutmeg, violet leaf and sequoia over amyris, benzoin, vetiver, leather and musk.
To me this smells like a walk through an old forest — Bright bergamot, sparkling citrus, lemon, sharp and sunny, cardamom, green and camphorous-spicy and juniper, bright and piney rising off sun-warmed bark. The heart is all Nutmeg, warm and sweet-spicy, violet leaf, green and dewy and sequoia, towering redwood calm — and suddenly the perfume feels like it is breathing against your skin. There is a warm spicy hum running through all of it, tying every layer together. It closes on Amyris, creamy balsamic wood, benzoin, warm golden resin, vetiver, green and earthy, leather, dark and supple and musk, soft and skin-like, a finish that feels both clean and indulgent. It feels like a secret you are happy to keep — and happier to share. Beginner-friendly — wear it anywhere, anytime.
