Composition
Flora Bella by Lalique is a 2005 Floral fragrance for women, composed by Bertrand Duchaufour. A solar floral built around mimosa, frangipani, tuberose and tiare over vanilla, amber and white musk, it was inspired by a 1930 René Lalique drawing of a cup. Soft, milky and quietly exotic.
This is sunshine filtered through flowers. The opening is bright citrus and pink pepper, but the heart is the story: mimosa, frangipani, tuberose and tiare melting into something creamy and almost milky, like coconut water with flower petals. The base of vanilla, amber and white musk keeps it soft and close to the skin. For Indian summers it wears like a cool floral veil — pretty, gentle, never overwhelming. Beginner-friendly and very easy to wear, though the softness means modest projection. A lovely office or daytime scent for those who find most florals too sharp.
