Composition
Hommage à L'Homme Voyageur is a travel-inspired flanker of Hommage à L'Homme, in a blue Art Deco bottle. Bergamot and cardamom open before a green woody heart of vetiver, patchouli and papyrus. Vanilla, amber and moss soften the drydown.
To me this smells like an old leather trunk just opened — bergamot and cardamom bright as a new stamp in a passport, then vetiver, patchouli, and papyrus, dry and green as maps. Vanilla, amber, and moss underneath are the trunk's cedar lining, warm with every journey it has ever taken. The papyrus is dry and papery, like old letters, and the moss at the base is a damp green shadow — every journey needs somewhere it came from. For the man who collects boarding passes: green, woody, quietly adventurous. Beginner-friendly.
