Composition
Fruits du Mouvement 1977 is the fruity opus of the Noir Premier collection, composed by Violaine Collas. Black pepper, mandarin and ginger open the composition, followed by a heart of jasmine absolute and prune. Amber, sandalwood and cashmere wood form the base.
To me this smells like a fruit market in autumn — black pepper and ginger snapping over mandarin, bright and electric, then prune and jasmine absolute, dark dried fruit against white flowers. Amber, sandalwood, and cashmere wood underneath are warm as a wool coat. The prune is dark and almost wine-like, and the ginger keeps it sparkling — dried fruit that still has somewhere to go. The cashmere wood wraps it all in soft, good cloth. The fruity opus, but make it grown up: spice, dried fruit, and amber, moving at its own rhythm. Beginner-friendly.
