Composition
Alberto Morillas' 2015 fresh reimagination inspired by a rare white poppy. Water notes, ginger flower, bergamot, lemon and pink pepper open over peony, freesia, rose, apple and peach, with white musk and violet. Sparkling and feminine.
To me this smells like rain on white petals — water notes and ginger flower first, cool and electric, bergamot and lemon fizzing like soda water, pink pepper adding a tiny crackle. Peony, freesia and rose bloom through it, apple and peach giving a juicy sweetness, all resting on white musk and violet like a cloud. Sparkling and feminine, inspired by a rare white poppy. It smells like the idea of a flower more than any actual flower. It wears like morning mist — there, then gone, then back again every time you move. Beginner-friendly.
