This is Flower by Kenzo after dark, in a good way. Saffron ignites first — that leathery, honeyed spice like the inside of a Kashmiri dry-fruit box — and then the Damask rose arrives, deep red and velvety, with orange blossom lifting it like evening light. It is spicy and floral at once, which is a hard trick to pull off. Vanilla wrapped in white musk in the base keeps it warm and skin-close, sensual without ever getting loud. Sophisticated, yes, but the kind of sophistication that invites you in rather than keeping you out. Beginner-friendly.
