Fleurs de Citronnier is Serge Lutens' 2004 ode to citrus blossom, a luminous floral eau de parfum. Bitter orange leaf and blossom melt into a honeyed heart of orange flower absolute, warmed by white musk and blond woods. Tender, radiant and quintessentially French, it is the house's love letter to the Mediterranean spring.
This is Serge Lutens at his most tender — an ode to citrus blossom that smells like standing in a flowering orange grove in Sicily in April. Bitter orange leaf and bergamot open green and sparkling, neroli bright as morning, and then the orange blossom heart arrives drenched in honey, golden and luminous, like sunlight through a jar. White musk and blond woods in the base keep it soft and warm, never sharp. It is radiant without being loud, sweet without being sugary. One of those rare Lutens you could wear to a family lunch and get asked about, in the good way. Beginner-friendly.
