Composition
Launched in 2010 - battito d'ali means flutter of wings. African orange flower and myrrh open into cacao and coconut, over vanilla. Tropical, gourmand and resinous.
To me this smells like dessert served inside a temple — African orange flower honeyed and bright in the first breath, myrrh right behind it, resinous and ancient, like the smoke curling off a brass diya. Then cacao and coconut melt together, dark chocolate dripping into warm milk. The vanilla base is pure comfort, soft as temple prasad kept warm in banana leaves. It is gourmand with a sacred streak — sweet, but never cheap. Myrrh's resinous hum keeps the sweetness honest, like incense in a sweet shop. Beginner-friendly.
