Composition
A 1998 composition of just three precious materials. Ambergris opens into myrrh, settling on incense. Golden, resinous and timeless - the house's purest amber study.
Three notes, and somehow it smells like a cathedral. Ambergris brings this salty, animalic warmth — like skin after a day at the sea — while myrrh and incense rise around it in slow gray ribbons. There is nothing to hide behind here: no citrus, no flowers, just resin and smoke and the mineral tang of ambergris. It smells ancient. Like something dug out of a tomb that still remembers being alive. Worn on skin, the ambergris turns salty-sweet and deeply personal — like the smell of someone you love after a day outdoors. It is minimalism at its most profound. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
