Composition
Angel Elixir is a floral-gourmand evolution of Angel, more radiant and solar than the original. It opens with pink pepper, blooms into a white-floral heart of orange blossom, jasmine and ylang-ylang, and settles on Amber Xtreme, Bourbon vanilla and New Caledonian sandalwood. The classic Angel opulence is lifted into a brighter, more contemporary register.
To me this smells like Angel grew up, caught some sun, and learned to laugh. Pink pepper snaps at the opening — bright, rosy heat — and then a whole bouquet of white flowers opens up: orange blossom, jasmine, ylang-ylang, all glowing like petals backlit by afternoon light. The drydown is where it gets you — Bourbon vanilla and amber wrapped around New Caledonian sandalwood, creamy and warm without the original Angel's patchouli thunder. It is a gourmand for people who want the deliciousness without the drama. Beginner-friendly.
