Composition
Alien is Mugler's solar woody-floral built around three key notes. It opens with luminous sambac jasmine, deepens into a cashmeran wood heart, and settles into a white amber base. Mysterious, radiant and distinctly Mugler, it is presented in the signature faceted amethyst flacon.
To me this is jasmine at midnight in a Delhi garden — sambac garlands, heady and almost narcotic, hanging in the humid dark. The cashmeran underneath is like warm stone, smooth and glowing, and the white amber lifts the whole thing into something solar and strange, like moonlight you can wear. There is something almost mineral in the cashmeran, like wet stone in moonlight, and the white amber stretches the jasmine for hours — one flower, worn like a second skin. It is Mugler's most hypnotic trick: one white flower, turned into a whole universe of night air and skin heat. Beginner-friendly.
