Composition
A 2019 chypre-floral unisex EDP by Alienor Massenet, named after the Maldivian island famous for its bioluminescent 'sea of stars'. Ginger, basil and cassis over geranium, immortelle and jasmine, on vetiver, patchouli and moss.
Vaadhoo is Memo's strangest beautiful scent. Ginger, basil and cassis open green and electric — like the air after a tropical storm — then immortelle (everlasting flower) brings its weird, curry-hay sweetness over geranium and jasmine. The base of vetiver, patchouli and moss is dark and earthy. It smells humid, wild and alive, like a jungle at night lit by glowing plankton. Divisive: some find it rancid, others hypnotic. Absolutely sample before buying; not for beginners.
