Composition
Inspired by the desert town of Marfa, Texas, and composed by Alienor Massenet. Mandarin essence and peach accord open into ylang ylang, tuberose absolute and orange flower absolute (cultivated in India), over Virginia cedarwood, vanilla bean, tonka bean, sandalwood and musk.
To me this smells like the Texas desert at night when everything blooms at once — mandarin bright as a struck match, peach soft and golden, and then the white flowers take over: ylang-ylang creamy and tropical, tuberose absolute going full narcotic, orange flower glowing like moonlight. It's a white-floral bomb, but the soft kind — no green bite, just petals. Cedarwood, vanilla bean, tonka, sandalwood, and musk melt it into something warm and skin-close, like perfume on sun-warmed skin hours after application. Lush, sweet, hypnotic. The desert, seducing you. Beginner-friendly.
