Composition
Named for Inlé Lake in Myanmar, from the Fleurs Bohèmes collection and composed by Alienor Massenet. Tea, bergamot, neroli essence and cardamom open into osmanthus, jasmine sambac and fig, over mate, musk, violet and cedarwood.
To me this smells like morning on Inle Lake in Myanmar — tea steaming in a tin cup, bergamot bright over the water, neroli green and fresh as the floating gardens. Cardamom warms it like a spice you can't quite place. Osmanthus blooms apricot-sweet, jasmine sambac glows white and tropical, fig adds its milky green richness. Mate and musk keep it earthy and clean, violet powdery-soft, cedarwood grounding it like the stilts of a lake house. Fresh, floral, green, calm. The smell of still water and slow mornings. Beginner-friendly.
