Created in 2010 in collaboration with actress Tilda Swinton. Ginger and tangerine open onto an unusual heart of pumpkin, immortelle, neroli and rose, with heliotrope, musk and vetiver in the base. Warm, gourmand-leaning and idiosyncratic.
Scent story
To me this is an autumn kitchen at golden hour — ginger and tangerine like peel on a wooden board, then the strange, wonderful heart: pumpkin and immortelle, nutty and honeyed and a little eerie, like Halloween seen through a perfumer's eyes, neroli and rose brightening the edges. The base is soft powder and skin: heliotrope like almond milk, musk warm, vetiver like dry leaves. It smells like Tilda herself — androgynous, intelligent, not trying to please anyone. A quiet masterpiece for the odd and the wonderful. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
