Composition
Burberry Sport for Women was launched in 2010, created by Olivier Polge and Beatrice Piquet. Mandarin orange, salt and ginger open over a heart of honeysuckle, magnolia and petitgrain, with musk, Virginia cedar and vetiver in the base. It is the feminine counterpart to Burberry Sport for Men.
To me this smells like a beach resort breakfast — mandarin orange juice with a pinch of sea salt on the rim, ginger waking you up better than coffee. Honeysuckle and magnolia drift over from the garden, petitgrain green and sparkling, and those solar notes warm your shoulders like 9am sun. Musk and vetiver keep it sporty-clean, cedar and a whisper of sand at the base like flip-flops kicked off by the pool. Fresh, breezy, zero complications — the olfactory equivalent of a deep breath. Beginner-friendly.
