To me this is a rose that went on an adventure. Blackcurrant leaf, redcurrant, grapefruit, mandarin, bergamot and lemon open bright and green — a whole fruit market exploding — and then rose blooms through it all, wild and fresh, with blackberry and raspberry tangling around it like vines. It's not a garden rose; it's a jungle rose. Woody notes, vanilla and amber dry it down warm and soft, like the adventure ending by a campfire. It's Hermes, so it's refined, but it's also fun. A rose with mud on its boots. Beginner-friendly.
