Mr Burberry is a 2016 Eau de Toilette for men by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. It opens with grapefruit, cardamom, tarragon and mint, moves through cedar, birch leaf, nutmeg and lavender, and grounds in vetiver, guaiac wood, sandalwood, amberwood, benzoin and oakmoss. It is a woody-aromatic scent inspired by the London trench coat.

A classic British gentleman, remixed for today — Mr Burberry opens with a zesty, herbal burst like a proper gin cocktail with grapefruit and mint. The heart is aromatic and green, lavender and birch leaf evoking a walk through a pine forest after rain. The dry-down is all warm woods and vetiver, like the inside of a cedar wardrobe. It's refined, versatile and quietly masculine — excellent office wear that also suits evenings. Very beginner-friendly: fresh, woody and polished, a safe and sophisticated choice.
