Composition
Lavande 31 is a unisex eau de parfum launched by Le Labo in October 2023, composed by Daphné Bugey. A modern aromatic fougère, it opens with bergamot and neroli over a heart of Provence lavender distilled from the flower buds, drying down to Le Labo's signature base of amber, musk and tonka. A rebellious, cleaned-up take on a classic lavender.
Bright bergamot and neroli flash first — a crisp, almost electric citrus lift — before a remarkably pure lavender heart takes over, herbal and calming without any old-fashioned powderiness. The drydown is warm and skin-like: tonka's soft sweetness folded into musk and amber. It smells like fresh-pressed formals and quiet confidence, and it handles Indian office days and evenings with equal ease. An easy, friendly entry point into niche perfumery for beginners.
