Composition
Rumeur 2 Rose, launched in 2006 and composed by Honorine Blanc, is a floral-fruity Eau de Parfum and the flanker of Lanvin's Rumeur. A sparkling citrus-rose bouquet with a musk, patchouli and amber base, it is one of Lanvin's most loved feminine fragrances.
Rumeur 2 Rose opens like a champagne toast — lemon, orange, grapefruit and bergamot fizzing over green notes, then a whole rose garden unfolds: rose, magnolia, jasmine, honeysuckle and lily-of-the-valley layered petal on petal. The musk-patchouli-amber base keeps it grounded and lasting instead of fleeting. It is the life of the party in fragrance form — bright, sociable, impossible to ignore — and in Indian festive settings, from Diwali parties to sangeets, it cuts through the crowd beautifully. Beginner-friendly if you love bold florals; the citrus-rose combo is big and sparkling, so lighter wearers may prefer fewer sprays.
