Composition
Éclat d'Arpège is Lanvin's modern floral interpretation of its 1927 classic Arpège, composed by Karine Dubreuil. A luminous blend of lilac and blossoms over white cedar and musk, it is an Eau de Parfum for women that has become one of the house's bestsellers.
This is the scent of walking through a spring garden just after rain — green lilac and lemon leaves sparkling at the open, then wisteria and red peony blooming soft and airy on the skin. It never gets heavy; the white cedar and musk base keeps it clean, gentle and close. In Indian summers this is a perfect office-day fragrance: fresh enough for May afternoons, polished enough for meetings, and completely uncontroversial. Very beginner-friendly — soft, pretty, and hard to dislike.
