Composition
Jeanne Lanvin, launched in 2008 and composed by Anne Flipo, is a fruity-floral Eau de Parfum named after the house's founder. Blackberry, pear and lemon open onto a raspberry-peony-rose heart with a musk, sandalwood and amber base.
This is pure joy in a bottle — sparkling blackberry and pear with a squeeze of lemon, like biting into a fruit sorbet on a hot day, then a heart of raspberry, peony and rose that keeps it romantic rather than candy-sweet. The musk-sandalwood base gives it a soft, creamy landing that lasts through a full day out. For Indian summers and festive daytime functions it is a crowd-pleaser: sweet enough to get compliments, light enough to wear in the heat. Very beginner-friendly — fruity, pretty and instantly likable.
