Scent story

To me this smells like a misty morning walk through a pear orchard, when the fruit is so ripe it is practically glowing and the mist has not decided whether to lift. Pear and hazelnut — such a strange, wonderful opening, like biting into something you have never tasted before — and then the florals bloom through the fog: osmanthus like apricot honey, rose like a rumor. The frankincense keeps it from floating away entirely, a thin thread of smoke holding the whole dream to the ground. It is the gentlest Amouage, and somehow one of the most haunting. Easy to love, even for beginners.
